Habakkuk 3:17–19
17 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. 19 God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.
Big Idea – True GRATITUDE is not based on what’s growing in your field but on who’s faithful in your life.

- Thank God ANYWAY
- Worship through TEARS
- Don’t let CIRCUMSTANCES dictate

II. Gratitude That Rests In Who God Is

Deliverance.
“When you can’t TRACE His hand, TRUST His
heart.”
Application:
- Focus on God’s NATURE, not NEWS
- Gratitude STARTS in RELATIONSHIP
- Joy happens IN you
III. Gratitude That Stands In Strength
(v.19)
God STRENGHTENS footing.
Joy is SUPERNATURAL strength.
Application:
- God strengthens, not REMOVES mountains
- Joy fuels SUFFERING saints
- Gratitude UNLOCKS STRENGTH
