Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We invite you to visit our Welcome Center to ask questions or to request more information about our church. Our awesome greeters will assist you with a smile. You will hear us say each week that “Your life matters, because you matter to Christ”, and we truly mean it! What Happens On A Sunday?
Our Sunday morning gatherings begin at 9:30am and generally last about 90 minutes. We begin each gathering with a brief welcome, prayer, and then our worship leads us in songs of praise and worship. We sing contemporary and traditional songs to keep a blend of the old and new. Our services are passionate! We may clap and lift our hands in heartfelt expressions of worship. We just ask you to join us and worship in whatever ways are comfortable for you. After worship, we engage in corporate prayer and take time for giving.
Afterward, Pastor Anderson will preach a message using the verse-by-verse (expository)style of teaching the Bible. If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. If you don’t own or bring a bible, don’t worry, we use screens to project scriptures, sermon points, and announcements throughout service. After church, many of our members hang out in the foyer to talk and fellowship.
What Should I Wear?
Come as you are! On any given Sunday, you will see people are dressed in what they feel comfortable in. Some will be in blazers and slacks, others in polos, blouses, and jeans. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
When Should I Arrive?
We meet weekly at our Humble location church. Our Sunday morning worship gathering begins promptly at 9:30AM. We invite you to arrive a few minutes early to find parking and to check your kids into our awesome kids ministry.
Where Should I Go?
Our Sunday worship gatherings are held at Global Outreach Community Church. Following the signs, enter our churches gathering area and a volunteer will welcome you and guide you.
What About My Kids?
When you enter, you’ll see signs directing you to our GOCC Kids check-in area and one of our volunteers will be there to greet you and answer any question you may have. We welcome kids (pre-school through Middle School age) to GOCC Kids church for an unforgettable time of fun lessons, activities, games, and music with a focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At this time, non-walking infants will remain with their parent/s. High school students will attend service along with the adults.
